Letter from the Chapter
We would like to personally welcome you to the University of Kansas, and encourage you to participate in Fall Formal Recruitment! The University of Kansas Panhellenic Council is home to 12 amazing chapters, and recruitment will give you the opportunity to meet women from each chapter and to find your best fit. Recruitment is a great way to get involved in an organization that will provide you with a variety of opportunities, but will most importantly help you form life-lasting friendships.
The University of Kansas has over 25,000 students, and joining a chapter can help you find your home-away-from-home. The University of Kansas Sigma Kappa chapter is pleased to promote our membership diversity, where our membership classes consist of women from across the country (and even one from England!) These women have found their second home at Sigma Kappa, and so can you! While there are many benefits of sorority membership, becoming a member of Sigma Kappa provides you a life-long sisterhood that is indescribable. Besides offering support, encouragement, celebration, and an atmosphere of success and well-being, Sigma Kappa creates opportunities for women to become a part of a world-wide sisterhood of amazing women. Sigma Kappa is much more than a four year commitment during your collegiate years. Becoming a member of Sigma Kappa means joining an organization bigger than yourself—one in which women support, encourage, and promote the success of our members. The bonds made in college don’t end with graduation—our bond continues to bring us together over the years, to share experiences, serve others, and most importantly, have fun! With Sigma Kappa, college is the beginning of a sisterhood that lasts a lifetime.
